Devlog - third week: We're halfway there!

Welcome back! We’re just over the halfway mark on the RPGM Jam. This week has been a busy one outside of game making, but myself and Frogmint have still been making more progress where we can that we’d like to share with you in this brief update:

It wouldn’t be a game in a mine without a minecart! This is currently the early stages for one of our mini games. You can also see me trying to work out custom water autotiles in RPG Maker, which feels a bit like trying to work out a cryptographic secret in FEZ but we’re getting there!

My favourite thing from this week is seeing Frogmint’s progress on the lovely external tiles for Canary's home! I’m a sucker for tudor architecture so big fan!

I’m close to finishing the most basic (and i mean basic!) version of the game. After that it will be a lot of testing, tweaking and polishing as we approach the deadline on May 7th.

Thanks for reading and enjoy your weekends! I’m running my first DND Campaign this weekend with some friends, it’s going to be an absolute car crash and I can’t wait :D
